Go, Went, Gone

“Blow, blow, thou winter wind
Thou art not so unkind
As man’s ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.

Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship if feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.”

William Shakespeare

The seasons

I’m sad. Winter leaves. The beautiful patterns of snow and greens announce the fading of the winter and welcome the blooming of the spring. One cannot argue against spring, the flowers, the colors, the fragrances of growth and beauty. I welcome them all in my life. However, I am still sad. Winter leaves and with the winter a silent carpet that brings a stillness to the world. The stillness of a crispy winter night that snowed the world in simplicity. Missing it.

Let’s sing and jump into spring.
