Natural Landscape Photography Awards 2022
Thanks to the founders and judges of the NLPOTY 2022, one of my aerial photographs from Iceland received 2nd prize at the Special Aerial Award. I am happy and very grateful that others so well perceive my work. Thank you! Congrats to Julie, Kevin, and all the other winners of the NLPOTY.
Participating in a competition is always a double-edged sword for me. I don’t believe in competition but in cooperation. I also don’t believe in the commercialism behind many contests. Therefore, I enter them without any intention of winning anything. I’m just happy to be able to participate. This year I only participated in this NLPOTY Awards. I believe in the people behind this competition, their values, and their transparent approach throughout the process.
