Sunbeam – A Poem by Erin Hanson

“I was
caught
inside a
sunbeam,
it was
only
passing
through,
but for a
moment all
was gold
and life shone
gently with its
hue.
Time hung
suspended like a
dust mote
in the spotlight
of that ray.
Sometimes I seek
out magic,
sometimes it finds me
either way.”
