Workshop Announcement – Norway, September 11-17, 2023

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.”
| Oscar Wilde, De Profundis

“When I discover who I am, I’ll be free.”
| Ralph Ellison, Invisible Man

It is with deep joy that I would like to announce today a workshop that I have been thinking about for a long time. I am going to offer it with my friend Trym Ivar Bergsmo. The workshop is titled “Find Your Artistic Identity and Create Meaningful Photographs.” The workshop will support you in finding your artistic identity and translating this into meaningful visual work with intent. This workshop is for people who create but question their style and search for deeper meaning in their photography. We believe that setup is rather unique, and both Trym and I will be highly involved in working with the participants to find their true identities. As such, the workshop is a blend of our keynote lectures, mentoring units, portfolio reviews, and in-field photography in the beautiful environment of northern Norway. The whole setup is created as a secure environment where we all work together as a group. Competition has no place here. Only authenticity, our values, our true passion for photography, and mentoring others. We believe that with our backgrounds in fine arts photography, mentoring, education, psychology, and personal branding, this environment is very special. As we want to keep the number of participants small, the number of possible places is highly limited.

To find out more about the workshop, please, visit my information page, or look at Trym’s announcement.

We both look very much forward to meeting you in Norway.
