Featured Artist in LensWork Magazine #150

“All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.”
| Edgar Allan Poe

Do you know these moments? When you think that everything is so unreal. Too good to be true? One of these rare moments happened to me this week. The events came thick and fast and I am just very grateful.

Not only that I had many wonderful conversations with people on different social platforms. I also received the news that my series “Together” is going to be featured in the upcoming anniversary edition of the LensWork Magazine. It was the first time that I sent a project to this magazine, which I have appreciated for years for its high quality content. It touches me deeply to be featured there with my my work. Among other artists, my photographs appear alongside those of Jack Curran, who we unfortunately lost 6 weeks ago. I have appreciated him as a wonderful person and enjoyed his work very much. All the more it means to me to appear in this anniversary edition.

It is a coincidence (or not?) that during my series of four blog articles on conceptual depth, the portfolio I used to characterize a conception has been chosen for publication. As such, I preserved the same title photograph for this post to emphasize the link in between the series and this publication.

With this, I’d like to thank the editor Brooks Jensen, the LensWork magazine and all my mentors over this photographic journey, such as Susan Burnstine, Rafael Rojas and my friends Wayne Barsky and Samuel Bitton for believing in me and my work.

In gratitude!
