You and your privacy are important to me. I will therefore only use your private information for administrative processes to provide the products or services you requested from me. Below you can find detailed information on privacy, ethics, data collection and data analytics related to this website:

I. Newsletter

When you sign up for my newsletter, I collect your email address and (if you choose to provide it) your first and last name. I use this information for sending my emails. I do not and will never sell nor give away your information to third parties.

To administer and maintain my newsletter mailing list as well as to send out email campaigns, I use Mailchimp. Mailchimp does not share your details with any other third parties. For more information about Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy, please click here.

You can at any time cancel your subscription to my newsletter by an unsubscribe button that is added to each email I sent to you.

II. Products and Services

When you purchase any product or service from me, your first and last name, address, email, telephone number, gender, date of birth, and transaction details (which product or service bought when at what price) are stored to administer and deliver the product or service. All information is stored in Microsoft Excel. In the case you wish me to remove your booking record from my records after the transaction, please contact me and I will delete it.

Besides my own personal website, I neither use any platform to record purchases, nor online payment processors nor accountancy system.

III. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, links etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

IV. Backup

For backing up my data, I use a local centralized Synology NAS device which is mirrored with a second client Synology NAS located at a different location. For this backup system I use Synology’s Cloud Station ShareSync. This file-sharing service Cloud Station ShareSync uses RC4 128-bit and MD5 for SSL encryption. V. Analytics

As of the importance of privacy to me, I have decided to not track behavior on this site and to not use services such as Google Analytics, or technology such as cookies or pixels.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect the changes in the business and practices, and so you should review this page periodically.
